This Privacy Policy describes how StakOne Pty Ltd collects, uses, stores and shares personal information when you use the StakOne website, the StakTask mobile app, the StakTask web platform, consultation forms and related services.
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect information that you or your organisation provide to us. This may include your name, contact details, phone number, company or employer, role, account details, support messages, consultation requests, task records, comments, photos, files, forms, signatures, checklist responses and other information submitted through our website, app or platform.
When you use our website, app or platform, we may automatically collect technical and usage information, including IP address, device type, operating system, browser type, app version, device identifiers, log data, crash reports, diagnostic information, pages or screens viewed, actions taken, dates and times of use and referring websites.
Depending on the features enabled by your organisation and the permissions you grant, StakTask may access camera, photo, file, notification or location data so you can complete operational tasks, attach evidence, receive alerts or support site-based workflows.
Our website may use cookies, log files and similar technologies to operate the site, understand usage, improve performance and protect against misuse. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
We do not intentionally collect payment card details through the StakTask mobile app. If paid services are introduced or processed through a third party, payment information will be handled by the relevant payment provider.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We use personal information to provide, operate and improve StakOne and StakTask services. This includes creating and managing accounts, authenticating users, delivering app and platform features, recording task activity, supporting operational workflows, responding to enquiries, sending service communications, providing support and maintaining business records.

We do not sell personal and sensitive user data. We do not use personal information collected through StakTask for targeted advertising.

We may share information with your organisation where your account is provided through an employer, contractor, client or other business customer. For example, task records, site records, checklist submissions, photos, comments, completion times and user activity may be visible to authorised administrators and managers of that organisation.
We may disclose information where required by law, regulation, court order, government request, audit, investigation or to protect the rights, safety and security of StakOne, our users, customers or the public.
If StakOne is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring or sale of business assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and privacy protections.
APP PERMISSIONS AND THIRD PARTY SERVICES
StakTask may request device permissions only where they support an app feature. Camera or photo access may be used to attach evidence to a task. File access may be used to upload documents. Notifications may be used for reminders and workflow updates. Location access, if enabled, may be used to support site-based operational records.
Our app and website may use third party software development kits and services such as Google Play services, Firebase, analytics, hosting, monitoring and crash reporting tools. These services may process technical, diagnostic or usage information to provide their services to us.

We use administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, misuse, loss, disclosure, alteration and destruction. If the app allows you to create an account, you can request account deletion from within the app where available or through the StakOne contact page. When an account deletion request is approved, we will delete or de-identify associated personal information unless we need to retain it for legal, security, fraud prevention, audit, dispute resolution or legitimate business purposes.
INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING
We may process and store information in Australia and other countries where StakOne, our customers or our service providers operate. Where required, we take reasonable steps to protect personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
CHILDREN
StakOne and StakTask are business and operational services. They are not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
